Helen and Mark - 29th December 2008

I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely couple on Monday the 29th December at Peppers Convent in the Hunter Valley.

This was an unusual wedding (in a good way) with only 10 guests and a Monday but also because the couple live in New York. They flew in on the 16th to Mark's parents at Noosa then got married at the Hunter Valley. I am so glad they chose me to capture their day. Apart from the most violent storm I have driven in it turned out to be a lovely afternoon.

Father & Son shoot

On a very very windy Sunday afternoon I photographed Bernie and Zak for a father/son shoot. This a ton of fun to do and included climbing trees, playing soccer and general "boy" stuff.
Bernie contacted me for the shoot after receiving a gift certificate from his father.

They were both great to work with and considering Zak had never met me he was really easy to direct in front of the camera. Thanks Zak!

Rainbow Gate 1st birthday and farewell party

I was honored to be able to photograph this event for Susie O'Donnell. She is one amazing woman. Rainbow Gate is a registered charity on the Central Coast of NSW that raises funds for children with Chronic, Complex High care physical needs. This whole charity started because of one special little boy who lost his battle back in June 2008

This was a celebration but also a bit of a sad day. The lease has run out on the property they are using at the moment so they are in the process of looking for new premises to keep this very worth while cause going. If you know of any buildings that are extremely cheap or free (preferably on the peninsula) pop me an email and I will pass it onto Susie.

Merv's birthday BBQ

On a hot Saturday afternoon we went to a BBQ for our new father inlaw.. I always love a good barbie and a catch up with family members that we don't see very often. I also can't believe how quickly the kids are growing.. definitely need to spend more time with them :)
